The opening of Edinburgh Printmakers member's exhibition - Hope. My work is the washing line high up in the air. Images of immigration printed on silk shapes of clothing - this was originally a response to an earlier call at EP - a response to Warsan Shire's poem Home- shown in Cork as part of a cooperation between print workshops around Europe. I have continued to develop it - adding clothing as responses to more immigration attrocities. Last year it was shown at the Saltaire Arts festival - in a backyard - a sensible place for a washing line. This year with the advent of the labour government I added the vest Hope not hate - fully hoping that things were going to improve - sadly it doesn't look that way now. I think the washing line wiill continue to develop.

Apart from that Hope is a great exhibition - if you have time go and see it.
