On the 6th August I took some prints down to the Flat Cat gallery in Lauder for their Autumn exhibition. While I was there we went for 2 walks in the are - one up the Lauder Valley to a Roman fort and one up the Tweed valley from Peebles. On each walk I made a plein aire watercolour sketch. Since then I have converted the images into collagraph plates and printed them.

And this is the sketch. I used carborandum for the trees, tiling cement for the hills, and the rest is combinations of PVA and cutting.
