This is the watercolour sketch I made at Portknockie. You will note that there is not much watercolour - that's because it absolutely peed down with rain before I had finished it. I prepare my paper with gesso - and nearly all the watercolour simply washed away. I was soo wet I consoled myself by consuming a lovely bowl of Cullen Skink - in a restaurant in Cullen! Very good and very consoling.
