Newhaven harbour mouth

I printed this collagraph at Edinburgh Printmakers yesterday. What I really liked about my original plein aire watercolour painting was the slot of light created in the sea by the harbour mouth - I am fascinated by the fact that this is hardly noticeable on the photo!

My eye sees much more colour than my camera - and then of course the change from watercolour to printing inks tends to emphasise colour even more.
