Yesterday’s print. -a 2 plater . The first plate was supposed to be orange and yellow only but I had to do the orange and lilac on the Cairngorm together -tricky becos I had painted the plate with wood glue where the lilac was to go so that it would be clean on the first printing so the lilac did not adhere very well. The second plate was green and blue and a red flash and some extra yellow. Sadly I forgot to take a photo of the first print.

The tracings on the cards with the original watercolour sketch

Plate 1 with the colours on it -the mountains are tiling cement -all else is wood glue
Picture
The second plate - the trees were engraved into the card with a dremell -I have bought some new heads for my dremell -very exciting. The ice is scalpel cuts and the rest wood glue.

My dremell with the head I used to do the trees. I think the orange and lilac colours are still too strong -but generally I am a lot happier with this print than Monday’s. However I am going to go back to Randolph’s Leap and have another shot.
