Join me in a collagraph tour of Scotland viewing my prints and the plein aire watercolour sketches I use to inform my prints.
In lockdown remember our beautiful landscapes and plan where to go when we are given our freedom.
Day I East Neuk of Fife. First print Anstruther - of fish and chips fame and boat to the Isle of May.
Print 2 Crail - I love the texture of the creels - here I have used hessian wallpaper - collagraph prints are basically a printed collage. If yo would like to know more about how I make my plates visit lindyfurby.co.uk/how-I-make-my-art.html
Print 3 Harbour at St Monans. I loved the texture of the harbour walls.
Pittenweem Harbour still a real working harbour - I hope they are not too devastated by Brexit.
Another view of St Monans.
Swooping terns at Cellardyke. I love the washing on the harbour walls- I think the terns were day visitors from the Isle of May
I've included these 2 prints of terns as I took the boat from Anstruther to the Isle of May. When we arrived we really upset the terns and they swooped upon us - and inspired these prints. Interestingly, we then walked past them sitting on nests a foot off the path - and they ignored us!
